Author's Purpose in Nonfiction Text

You've been learning about different types of author's purpose. Now it's time for you to go out on the web and look for your own examples for each type of author's purpose. Your group needs to find an example for each type of author's purpose. So in the end you should have three links posted explaining why that link fits that type.     In Deadly Snake Escapes the author's purpose was to inform. I know this because it told me that the snake can grow up to 9.8 feet and is venemous. It also said that it got loose in the zoo. I learned something so it was to inform.

    In playstation move heros it told me about all the heros and one named ratchet and his sidekick clank. The author's purpose was to entertain me because it had some heroes it told me a story.
